Mortgage Payoff

Mortgage payoff – what you need to know

Thinking of selling or refinancing your home? This means that you`ll need to find out your current mortgage payoff--this is the amount of cash you will need to satisfy the terms of your mortgage loan.

Below you`ll find what you need to know to get your payoff quote as well as the options that you have for paying off your loan.

Requesting a payoff quote by the homeowner website, third party portal or phone

Homeowner Website: The easiest way to request a payoff quote is through our homeowner website. Under the Loan Information section, you will find a payoff request option that will take you to our payoff request form. Simply, fill in the information on the form and we will send you your payoff quote.

Third Party Portal: submit your request electronically via our third-party portal:

Phone: 855-648-0025

News Flash: A payoff statement will be emailed or mailed within approximately 7 business days of receipt of your request or within the timeframe required by state law if less than 7 days.

Will I receive a notification that my payoff was received?

Absolutely, a notification letter stating that your loan has been paid in full will be mailed within 3 business days once we receive your payoff funds. In addition, your updated mortgage agreement and security instrument (Mortgage or Deed of Trust) to the property will be sent to you within the timeframe required by your state.

Is there a charge for a payoff statement?

Charges for payoff statements vary by state and loan product type. Certain states allow a fee while others do not. For more state-specific information, click here.

How long does it take to receive my escrow balance after my loan is paid off?

Good question! Once your loan is paid in full, if there’s an escrow/surplus balance, it will be refunded and mailed within 20 business days (that’s 20 days from the date of the payoff transaction).

News Flash: If you’re moving, be sure to provide us your new mailing address so that we don’t send your refund to your old address!
